- The Money Matters Panel provides an opportunity for readers of Money magazine to share their views on business, personal finance and other relevant issues. As a Money Matters Panel member, you can contribute to Money magazine by sharing your individual opinions and experiences through surveys and opportunities for personal profiles.
- Do I have to pay to be a member of the Money Matters Panel?
- No. Membership and access to the Money Matters Panel are free of charge. In appreciation for your participation in the panel, Time Inc. will make a charitable donation. The more you participate, the more influence you’ll have on the level and destination of a charitable donation.
- How do I become a member of the Money Matters Panel?
- You can become a member by filling out our registration survey.
- Does anyone have access to my personal information?
- Protecting privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We will not provide your personal information to anyone for marketing or sale purposes. For more detailed information, please review our Privacy Policy.
- Why do you ask for personal information in your surveys?
- We ask questions about you, such as your age, gender, interests, employment, purchasing behaviors and online usage, in order to help us develop general trends about the Money Matters Panel. This information is reported in aggregate only and all information you provide will be kept completely confidential, and will not be shared or sold to any third parties.
- Do I have to participate every time I am invited to take a survey?
- While we encourage you to take a survey whenever you receive an invitation, choosing not to participate in a survey will not affect your membership. However, the more surveys you take, the more opportunities you'll have to contribute to a charity and a story in Money magazine.
- How long do surveys take to complete?
- Our typical surveys are short and take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. We try to keep the surveys to a maximum of 10 minutes. This time may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection or browser.
